Maybe I don't understand something, but why your functions, including the "new version", give the next result?

?WeekDays({^2006/02/02},{^2006/02/09}) &&prints 6
?WeekDays({^2006/02/03},{^2006/02/10}) && 6
?WeekDays({^2006/02/04},{^2006/02/11}) && 5
?WeekDays({^2006/02/05},{^2006/02/12}) && 5
