You need an "INTO. . ." in your Select to prevent this.

>I added a grid to a form and set the RecordSourceType to 4 - SQL Select. I made the RecordSource equal "Select * FROM myTable". When the form starts, a browse window comes up first with the SQL results. When I escape from the browse, my grid is populated with the same results. If I change the RecordSource in code, the browse again displays first and my grid is refreshed. Why am I getting the browse window first?
