>>>For me that isn't no problem to discuss an argument with different opinions of mine.. Fell free.. I like to see different point-of-view of same subject.. Nice one, for mutual grown..
>>>
>>>Only quoting bible, and not taking "the true" of anything.. Jesus Christ self proclaim not as a messenger. But, as God.. In many different books (of bible) we see:
>>>
>>>John 10 30 "I and my Father are one."
>>
>>And somewhere else, He says, whoever sees me, sees the father.
>>
>>On the other hand, somewhere else He says, the Father is greater than I am.
>>
>>I don't remember exactly where He said this, but if you are interested, I can look it up.
>>
>>How would you reconcile these apparently contradictory statements?
>>
>
>At Genesis (sample bellow), wrote around 1500y B.C. the bible uses plural for God.. For Christianity, God is a trinity of God Father, God Son and Holly spirit..
>
>Genesis 1 26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. "
>
>So, Jesus is one with God Father (on the trinity).. And also, His Son.. And He always refer to His Father as a superior being (or supremal on priority).
>
>This is the exactly difference about christianity and the others religions.. On christianity: "God came for us".. For the others: "We must have to do something, to deserve God".. All that matter is the credit of our bahavior: If good one = Sun, Bad one = Rain.. On the christianity the only thing that matter is faith on His existence and faith on the life/acts of Jesus..
>
>>>>Christ said (paraphrasing) that there are still lots of things He could tell us, but that at that time, mankind would not understand it. But that at some future time, someone (a "spirit of truth") would come and "bring us all the truth".
>>>
>>>His mention is about the death.. The death is what still exists of obscure. Intentionally He leaves this obscure subject. Because, even we, little far that knowing of this subject.. even we, wide far that play with our own lives.. Now, imagine if the human kind gets more wisdom about this..
>>
>>And many Christians think that when He says that a spirit of truth will reveal all truth, that prophecy was fulfilled in the days of - whatever it is called in English - Pentecostes.
>>
>>I think He was referring to some kind of prophet who would come after Him.
>
>yeah, I'm a prophet because I'm prophetizing His words/wisdom<g>
>
>I'm kidding bro.. Now serious, tell us something about Bahai faith (sorry I'm not sure the word in english)..

Bahá'í Faith. (The diacriticals (accents) are part of the transliteration system commonly used in the Bahá'í Faith.)

> When exactly He came? Where?

We often consider that the Bahá'í Faith has two founders.

The first, Siyyid Ali Muhammad, was known as The Báb ("Gate"). He started to proclaim His message in the 19th. century, in 1844 A.D. (1260 D.H.). He was executed in 1850.

The second, Mirzá Hussayn Ali, was known as Bahá'u'lláh ("The Glory of God"). He continued the message of the Báb; in 1863 He publicly claimed to be His successor: the Báb had made references to someone who would appear, "He Whom God will make manifest", and Bahá'u'lláh claimed that He was that person.

> Did He left any book?

Scores of books. Most of them have not been been translated even into English yet. You can get a nice collection of books (together with Sacred Writings from several other religions) if you download the Ocean library from http://www.bahaieducation.org/ocean. Several of the books are also available online.

I can especially recommend the Kitab-i-Iqán (Book of Certitude, Livro da Certeza).

Other well-known books include the Most Holy Book, which contains many of the laws for Bahá'ís, the Hidden Words, with some recommendations for living a proper life, the Seven Valleys - somewhat mystical, and many others more.

> What is exactly the "center" of His message?

I guess this can't be answered with as few words as many Christians would answer if the same question were asked about Jesus Christ.

One important point is that God has sent His Messengers in the past, and will continue to do so in the future. Bahá'u'lláh is God's Messengers for this period of time. In other words, God has spoken once again, and sent us a new message. As to whether He really is who He claims to be or not, you would have to investigate a lot more about the Bahá'í Faith, and apply the criterion given by Jesus Christ which you mentioned: You will recognize them by their fruits.

Of course, as in any religion, there are certain laws to be followed, but I will not go into details right now.

Bahá'ís believe that now is the time to work towards a world unity. Many of the Bahá'í teachings are geared towards this.
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
