I don't see how "This doesn't work for me because..." is in any way "positive". It may offer warranted criticism that may be viewed as "consrtuctive", but it is nevertheless negative. You are not saying 'yes', are you?
I have little good to say about (large) corporations since MBAs took control overall and later exploited the demise of the USSR. When that subject comes up there's nothing "positive" to be said. That being the case, why should I "go somewhere else" and where would that 'somewhere else' be?
In the context of being a soccer coach I can see it. But for life in general there's simply no place else to go.
