In the Bahá'í Faith, two steps for world peace are envisioned. A first step would be, well, the "absence of fighting". A world agreement to end wars. Bahá'í writings often refer to this as the "Lesser Peace".
The true peace, i.e. true brotherhood between all countries and peoples of the earth, will be a later process. It will take quite a while to get this far. This would the "Most Great Peace".
