There is a third party utility that slows down the machine enough till the code can be ported to VFP where the problem doesn't exist. Here's a link to it http://www.vss-inc.com/slowstart.html

>A client is running an old FP2.6/Win app under WinNT. The app was running fine, but now they are upgrading their old h/w to faster machines and FP/Win is giving them some trouble. They report getting a 'divide by 0' message when FP starts up. Are there workarounds for this problem? I vaguely remember an OS switch that slows down execution... They are not too interested in my excellent suggestion to rewrite the app in VFP <g>.
