>I have to say my system can't handle fiery foods like it used to. When I make chili now there are only 4 or 5 jalapenos (and less cayenne pepper) instead of a dozen or so. And I usually lay off the green curry chicken at my favorite Thai restaurant. It still tastes perfect but it doesn't sit well, if you know what I'm saying.
I've gone through couple of sessions of acupuncture (performed by my wife - she's a doctor) to take off a few kilos (first time) and then pounds (next time). While it didn't turn me into a twiggy (I lost the weight, but over a longer time than expected), it helped regulate my digestion. I actually noticed the few kinds of food I was avoiding, and just stopped avoiding them. Tried the really hot again, and voila - it not only didn't hurt, I actually enjoyed it with no problems afterwards.
>Aging isn't for sissies.
The poor sods age too, unfortunately.
