I wasn't suggesting an index on EOF(), just index on a character field. Since the string "EOF()" is unlikely to be found, it's a readable way to GO (EOF()). It could just as well be "XYZ", but as I said "EOF()" is more readable, and folks usually find it a bit fun that it works.
