Hi Rob,
We just went through this too, although ours was an NT server and a VFP5 program. We found that the server was DEFINITELY overloaded - they ran some diagnostics. System Admin. removed Outlook and Printing to other servers (actually brought in a 486 as a print server, to handle 15,000 pages of printing per day) and we were back in business.

We also had some strange errors that required work arounds. Let me know if you want more info.

Took MONTHS to fix, though. Actually it took a couple of years, because the problem started with the original FPW2.6 program.
