>>>By the way, has anyone used Carbonite? For $40 something a year - unlimited space - it will back up whatever you want to their servers over your internet connection and keep it updated as the files change. Not sure, but I think you could do the entire harddrive. I gave it a test drive, but will have to wait to get the real version.

>>Yes, I tried it and am still using it. It was $50 a year for me (including a $10 discount for being a registered WinZip user). One nice thing about it is backups are done automatically on an ongoing basis. The only tweaking I had to do was mark the external hard drive, which is itself a backup drive, not to be backed up.

>>I still run scheduled local backups every night with Backup4All but the peace of mind knowing my data won't be lost if the event of fire, theft, etc. is worth 50 bucks a year to me.

>I have a dilemma on the book. I think I'm going to sign up for a VB.NET course instead of the C#. More jobs (big priority right now) and I think easier going from Foxpro. Also, employers might think that Foxpro and VB are close enough to give me some credit for the Foxpro experience. Any thoughts? New thread maybe?

Awright, big fella. Haven't seen your coupon on the panel for a while. Have you been away? Weren't you retraining in another language or summat?

BTW how's the affliction coming on? Any signs of recovery yet (you did say it ytakes quite a while, but it's been, what? - a year now, nicht wahr?
