Interesting interview on the Daily Show with Al Sharpton. Jon's a brilliant and funny guy. I awlays enjoy the balancing act he plays... using comedy to ask insightful questions.

I read about the story when it broke on CNN, and also saw the interview with Jon Stewart. Funny guy? Sure. Brilliant? Hmm....that one I'll debate. I think 'clever' might be better. (though I usually enjoy his show)

The story itself (the connection between Strom and Al) is barely newsworthy, possibly because the two men themselves aren't really newsworthy. <s>

For someone who wants to be a leader, Sharpton is anything but one. His entire M.O. is to put those whom he believes are adversaries on the defensive. His use of the 'N' word alone is despicable. I don't tolerate that kind of language about african americans, so I sure won't tolerate that from them.
