I have read about generics in a few books, but I haven't quite grasped the concept yet. I'm sure it will help when I get 2005 and can start playing around with them.
I used it for about 4 months at my last job, and the things I noticed off the bat that I wish I had back were the debugging enhancements, the ability to preview a Crystal Report in the IDE, the ClickOnce deployment, and the File System web projects. Of course, I didn't really have enough time to jump into the language features, but I am sure that will change when I get 2005 at this job.
I am also excited about the Master Pages addition to ASP.NET. I think that will make a lot of the things I do a lot easier.
