The terms "liberal" and "conservative" are bogus in the first place, nothing more than convenient terms to make the discussion either-or.

I'm responding to somebody who initiated the "us and them" scenario, claiming that conservatives by definition are responsible for everything that goes wrong while the cool dude liberals always get it right. If you check my other posts, I gave a contemporary example where this scenario is turned on its head. As you note, nobody has a monopoly on insight and thinking, apart from those who are still young enough to know everything and/or those who are so sure of their own tolerance and viewpoint that they become intolerant of anybody else's. ;-)
