>>>At this point I would be delighted with a U.S. President who talks straight and makes sense, no matter what party.

>>Is that even possible anymore? Money talks.

>You're right, it does, but it doesn't rule. Occasionally someone comes along who transcends the usual rules and engages people in an inspirational way. JFK was one. I believe his heir apparent is on the stage now. You know who I mean. Interestingly enough in light of the "too inexperienced" potshots from the extremely well funded opposition, Barack Obama's legislative experience is eerily similar to JFK's, as well as Abraham Lincoln's.

>You know what? I think it's going to happen. For a presumptive front runner with a million warbucks behind her Hillary is already running scared. First she goes nuclear in a most unbecoming way when David Geffen switches allegiance from the Clintons to Obama and hosts a fundraiser in L.A. Then she tries to coattail Obama into Selma, where Obama was invited to be the keynote speaker at a commemorative event on Sunday. Surprise! A couple days later Hillary is invited to speak at a church two blocks away. Power politics at its ugliest. I am all for a female President but Hillary is about the last one I would vote for. It would be like electing Lady Macbeth.

The trouble with Barack is this name is like that of the dictator Egyption president and his other name's too much like the US's bitter no. 1 enemy. You don't think this will subconciously go against him?

I can just see the tabloid headlines, if he should be caught in any kind of hanky-panky or sexual scandal:

"Obama Sin Laden!"
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
