>He doesn't claim to be a scientist in the field or claim to have done direct enviromental studies, he is just bringing attention to a problem that governments and big business don't want to see. If he fell in the trap of reacting to everybody that did not care to hear his thinking on the subject, he would loose the ability to be effective. The debate is amoung the scientist, most of them say its a hugh problem.

So he's not accountable of what he says?
When he talks he acts like his word is the climate gospel.

I saw his film. It's mostly a propaganda piece using dramatic music, low melodramatic lighting and low tone Gore's voice to suck you in into his way of thinking. If he believe so much of what he's talking about, I would think he could answer some questions instead of appearing on Jay Leno and David Letterman.

As for it being a "huge" problem... maybe, maybe not... But one thing I agree with you is we should manage our resources better.

>>But I've yet seen or heard him in a debate concerning some of his claims. He make plenty of appreances in front of friendly crowd to speak, but not to debate. I would say he shys away from debates on the issue. I guess he leaves the debating up to those who know more about it.
The American Republic will endure, until politicians realize they can bribe the people with their own money.
- Alexis de Tocqueville

No man’s life, liberty, or property is safe while the legislature is in session.
– Mark Twain (1866)
