Forms & Form designer
>>I have a form that was created for one application and now I would like that same form in another application. I tried copying that form to the new application development directory and adding it to the project but of course this doesn't work because it is associated with the first dbc. What can I do to move a form from one dbc to another?

>You can open the form in Form Designer and recollect tables in DataEnvironment (remove old tables and add new ones). This is simplest way. Another way is not to make any changes in designer and just reset DE.Cursor.Database properties in run-time (if new dbc has the same tables as old one).
Thats what I initially thought I could do. However, I cannot open the form in the form designer-I get the error "Error instantiating cursor object. Cannot find c:\sc\ls.dbc" (the old database).
Oh before I posted this I "Located" my new dbc and it seems to work now!
Thanks Ed,
