>>I watched a rerun of Logan's Run (the original film - not the TV series) at the w/e, for the umpeenth time. It suddenly struck me how prophetic it was. The "City" resembled just a huge mall, crowded with feckless, aimless kids, all under 30, with nowt better to do than wander around shopping and having a laugh.

>>Pity we can't send them to the "Carouselle"!!!

>Seeing it for the upteenth time?????????????? To each his own...........

It was a rainy saturday, I needed to wait in for my daughter, there was nowt else on and no point starting a job. I know it's crap, but there are those Jenny Agiter (SP?) scenes :-)

>I remember seeing this movie as part of a Science Fiction class I was taking at college (it was a non-credit extension course). I hadn't read the book. The original premise (domed city with no room for population growth so everybody is killed off at 30) had promise. But the plot just kept getting sillier and sillier until the whole thing was beyond even my ability to suspend disbelief.

"Fish, krill ... and proteins from the sea" (or summat like that) Daftest paret of the whole thing.

>Oddly enough I was the only student who had read any significant amount of SF. Oddly enough, I was the only one who didn't fall in love with the film.

Now what does that say of you, rather than those other idiots?
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
