We use the command "shutdown" from a batch file, which is invoked to run at a certain time, from the Task Scheduler.
This works perfectly when the the computer is not locked. But when the computer is locked (with the shortcut key Windows-L), the batch file does execute (as we can verify by "time of last execution"), but the "shutdown" command doesn't do anything.
Apart from NOT locking the computer, do you know of any other solution?
TIA,
Hilmar.
