I do not know if I am going about this correctly. I have a Sql Server DB that I connect through ADO and CA to get data out of, at the moment, a table at a time, and need to pass back new records to that table.

I connect up and get the data into the CA without a problem. I have the Keyfieldslist, tables, updatefieldlist, updatetablelist, and cursorscema filled. I fill a temporary cursor with the data to go into the CA and do all the maniplulating there. Then I try to move the data from the temporary cursor into the CA with an insert - select statement, but it gives me a syntax error. I have tryed with an append from and an append from fields, but nothing seems to work.

Am I going about this incorrectly?
