>You haven't watched it right yet, then. Sometime when there is nothing as good as "Logan's Run" on rent the DVD with Roger Ebert's commentary. So much of it was revolutionary. It's like the anecdote about the lady going to her first Shakespearean play. Afterwards someone asks how she liked it. "It was all right," she says, "but SO many cliches!"
It's amazing just HOW MANY Shakespearean cliches we actually use daily.
I can't see myself hiring (renting) Kane though when there's blockbusters I haven't seen at the cinema yet, e.g. the Eastwood Iwo Jima films. Besides, I very rarely have time/inclination to rent a vid anyway.
BTW, despite your slur 'as good as "Logan's Run" on', don't think that that is a quality film to me. there's a big difference to watching some old "pony & trap" on the telly, cos it's on, and going out to hire a vid.

>>>That was a pretty enjoyable movie even apart from Ms. Agutter's charms. Not "Citizen Kane" or anything but an entertaining way to spend two hours.

>>Citizen Kane? I'd rather watch gravel weather!

>>>>If you like the Jenny Auguter scenes, you should watch An American Werewolf in London.

>>>>>It was a rainy saturday, I needed to wait in for my daughter, there was nowt else on and no point starting a job. I know it's crap, but there are those Jenny Agiter (SP?) scenes :-)
