Interesting that he gets nailed for lying and obstructing the investigation of the CIA's leak of operative Valerie Plame's identity, but not the leak itself. Who's taking the fall for that?

>My point exactly. He was NOT convicted of leaking her identity. That has been made clear in every news report I've heard since last night.

>>Libby was convicted of one count of obstruction of justice, two counts of perjury to the grand jury and one count of lying to the FBI. He was acquitted of one count of lying to the FBI.
>>
>>>He was NOT found guilty of leaking the information. DId I miss something?

>>>>>>wooohooo! Ok so when can we put Cheney on trial?
>>>>>>
>>>>>>"....Former White House aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby has been found guilty on four of five counts in his perjury and obstruction of justice trial. Libby faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison and a fine of $1 million. Libby, the former chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, was accused of lying and obstructing the investigation into the 2003 leak of CIA operative Valerie Plame's identity to reporters...."
>>>>>>
>>>>>>25 years - so lets see with time for good behavior and the need to make more prision room for the ultra-dangerours pot smokers - he should be out in what.... 3 weeks?

>>>>>I wonder if this will go up higher to Cheney or even Bush? Sounds like a reasonable reason for impeachment.
>>>>
>>>>Oh no you can leak CIA operative's identity and start illegal wars with the wrong country and run a concentration camp in cuba and not get impeached. You have to do something really bad - like have sex with a girl on yer office like Clinton did.
