Hi Mike --
>>Given your apparent and thinly veiled allusions to inside knowledge that VFP is dead,<<
Moi?
>>why are you here?<<
Let's just say the sociological insights are highly compelling.
>>I noticed from another thread that you are attempting to do something in VFP.<<
Interesting observation.
>>No malice intended, I'm just really curious about why you, as someone who used to work in VFP (at least some), then went to VB, is telling people in one thread that they shouldn't be working in VFP,<<
Well, first of, I "is" not doing anything, although I "am" of the belief you suggest. But, *far* be it from me to be telling anyone what language they should be using! The world is full of language bigots. That's always a dead-end argument, and one I've never relished getting into, as there are no productive ends.
No, I just find it interesting that some folks using this product have gone as far as threatening to "beat me up" for my viewpoints. I've observed the shared psychosis from afar for quite some time, and figured it was time to dive right in and try to come fully to terms with what it is that drives folks to these extremes.
Enough about me. Tell me Mike, why are *you* here?
Later... Karl
