So going around nuking places and otherwise being the bully of the world would stop people - those who might want to be suicide bombers or liberators of WMD material - from taking jobs at airports or transit systems or water purification plants, etc??? I think you're dreaming. In technicolour!

Why don't you propose alternatively that the U.S. should roll up the welcome mat, bar all foreign entry, forsake all foreign goods and just become an island of American paradise?
Would it have something to do with NEEDING oil and other stuff that you can only get elsewhere? Or might it have something to do with corporations NEEDING the ability to exploit offshore labour so that they can continue to reap huge pay-cheques? Or could it be that the military/inductrial/political complex NEEDS places to war with to keep profits rolling in?

It's come to light that much of the problem at Walter Reed outpatient services is related to it virtually all being outsourced. I wonder who wins in that gig. Not the soldiers, obviously!
