Duncan,

>Both forms involved are MM forms. I have a base form, from which the Modal form inherits, which is just an MMBusiness Form with a standard toolstrip housing the MM New/Save/Delete/Close buttons. The MDI child form here is a little less 'traditional' in an MM sense. It uses a Tree - TabControl format, where the tree represents a master data hierarchy and the tab pages represent the details associated with the different types of tree nodes. I have built UserControls (instead of forms) which contain the business objects and UI controls, and place those on the respective tab. So the main MDI child form here does not contain any of its own business objects. The two forms in this scenario are not related except for the fact that they may be open at the same time.

How are you launching the forms? Are you using the Form Manager to launch the form? For example:
mmAppDesktop.FormMgr.Show(new SampleCodeForm());
If need be, I can use GoToMeeting to log into your system to check this out.
