Three years ago i was required to find a report writer for VFP reports. I tried several of the report converters available. I chose XFRX. I am very happy with that choice.

These tools are usually the creation of a single author. And although I am very happy with XFRX right now .... if the author of XFRX decides to pursue other interests I do not know my level of customer satisfaction will remain high.

The opposite of the preceding story can also happen. An average product can be picked up and continued by a great developer that begins doing a great job. Or the author can just unilaterally decide to spend a lot more time than he did in the past on it. I suspect this is the case with FRX2Any.

I'd say take the time to personally test a few of the major alternatives on your own. Then combine your personal experience with the anecdotes provided in this thread to make your final decision.

Good Luck ....
