I don't know that a law is the solution but I wouldn't call it dumb. Boorish fan behavior *is* the #1 reason coaches and referees leave organized sports. IMO it is particularly inappropriate in youth sports. If you want to go to a pro game and shout all kinds of stupid stuff at millionaires, that's one thing. Quite another when middle aged guys are bellowing until the veins stand out on their necks at a kids' game.
