>>>>Two weeks ago we were promised that gasoline would raise 40 cents within two weeks. Well they were wrong! As of today it has gone up 44 cents! My local station has the lowest price in the area and regular is $2.99.

>Er, actually, one staion it's gone up c. 4-5p/ltr, and others 1p. But what kills me is you guys bleating when yours isn't even half what ours costs. (c. 3/8). You don't know you're born!
For comparison: In Bolivia we pay a little less than Bs. 4, equivalent to almost half a US$, per liter, for gasolene.
However, many cars have already switched to gas, which costs about 1/3 (per km.), compared to gasolene (gas costs Bs. 1.66, or US$ 0.20, per cubic meter). Service stations that provide gas are widely available. Actually, cars are changed to "dual", i.e., they can use either gas or gasolene.
