I've got a 16 color 32x32 image in .bmp with non-standard colors. If I cut and paste it into a new .ico file in ImagEdit I see the original range of colors, but on saving it reverts to the standard palette - effectively destroying my artwork.
I know I can set custom colors in the palette - but haven't had any success at all by playing with it.
Does anyone know how to create a .ico file from the .bmp preserving the palette?
