>How can the American people vote AGAINST corruption when it exists in all parties?
Perhaps by supporting a candidate that puts this on his priority list??? (isn't this one of most important reason to vote in the first place?)
> No corruption was evident with the current administration til after the election. It is not the party, it is the candidates and their cronies and the overall administration put into place after each election. The Republican is really no more corrupt than the Democrat party. Sadly, we are no better than the rest of the world at foreseeing what a candidate will really do when in office. I don't think realistically there is a snowball's chance in h_ll of the Republicans winning the next Presidential election though. Still, we'll just have to wait and see...
Some drastic changes have to be made to prevent this. First is to get true independed press and get rid of the political allied/financed press. Only in this way the US citizens will be able to get out of the negative spiral of biased and polarised misinformation.
The independed press has to have a self cleaning mechanism that will ensure independence in the future. That press will have the capability to detect corruption much earlier and could precent the curruption on the current scale.
