The good news is I believe they are working on an application updater when the framework gets updated. But I have struggled with the same problem as you more than once. One thing I found in addition to removing all the references and re-installing them was removing them from the toolbox and re-installing them. I am not so sure why, but it seems I have had to get rid of everything mm and re-install everything in order to get it to stop complaining about unfound components.
