If you take that stance, then you have to totally rule out anything Al Gore says or his documentary as well. Since he uses a huge amount of energy personally and buys carbon credits to compenstate for it from a corporation he helped to fund and is chairman of as well. Anyone or any company which uses too much energy can basically buy 'credits' to balance it out. Those credits are issued from his company which invests the money into stopping global warming. He basically takes money from his left pocket and moves it to his right pocket...

>You could be right, and again, this seems to make sense, but since I always hear about how any scientist who is on the "global warming = bad" side of the coin, is only saying it to get funding, I thought I'd check up on CEI:
>
>Exxon has contributed over 2,000,000 to this organisation over the years.
>
>Known corporate funders in addition to ExxonMobil include the American Petroleum Institute, Cigna Corporation, Dow Chemical, EBCO Corp, General Motors, and IBM. One of CEI's prominent funders is conservative Richard Scaife who has provided money through the Carthage and Sara Scaife Foundations. CEI is also heavily supported by the various Koch brother foundations.

>>>It looks rational, and who knows, maybe it's even right, but if this is the same Martin Durkin as this one, then I guess I still need more convincing.
