I ran into this and there was an issue with the XP Prof and 2003 Server. I had contacted XiTech and got support... They did some updates and sent me out a quick patch, don't know when their latest was done...

Another possibility is to register the dll manually like at the DOS prompt with

xicr50.dll /regserver
