Just about as bad after the split! Coming from T-ville to the airport area in the morning I cut across from I-85 to 68 using the new 311 bypass in High Point. On occasion I'll take 40 to 85 to head home now that they have added the new lanes. Back when it was 4 lanes to death valley I wouldn't go that route even when the furniture market was in town.
