Hi

I agree that most people never change their Windows Colour Scheme however, there are times when you may want to change the background colour of a single control for special purposes within the application and having the checkbox work the way it does is a problem.

However, checkboxes are different in that they do not change the colour of the data entry portion instead they change the background colour of the label portion. I would have preferred that the controls be consistent and only change the background colour of the data entry portion when you use the BackGround colour property.

The backcolor property of the checkbox does not work for me when I change the color. Could you provide more details.

>>>I mean, if you go and change your windows setup colours (I have all my windows background colours a restful green, to avoid headaches from the white radiation) you'll find the checkbox takes this colour. I haven't been able to change mine. I think it's governed by the ColorScheme prop. IOW it's essentially a user decision.
