>>>As I'm sure you know, the interstate highways were designed to be safe at 70 mph. Good luck getting up to that speed in some urban areas, of course.
>>>
>>>I give a wide berth to the guys (and they are always guys, aren't they?) who drive 100+ and weave in and out of traffic. Half of them are wasted and the other half are bombs waiting to go off. I don't want to be close enough to join them in paradise.

>>And half of them are being filmed by a chopper for "The World's Scariest Police Videos" or whatever it's called?

>>In the UK the speed limit on motorways is 70. But generally the avge speed of the traffic is c. 80, many do 90, with a few in Beemers and Merks zooming past at >100. It seems the police turn a blind eye to 80 (as they'd have to pull over half the traffic).
>If you are over 79 you'll get a ticket from the M4 speed cams

Aye but they're not human like the bizzies are, who'll say "ah, sod it, I can't be bothered".

>I got one on the dual carriageway outside Bournemouth for doing 58 in a 50 limit. I accelerated a bit to hard coming off a roundabout to gte past some slow traffic and pop there you go 3 points and 60 pounds.

FFFFFF! Just 3 mph over the 10% leeway! Slow traffic - they're the worst!
