Sedna will be given away as a free download and also put out there as open source on CodePlex, but YAG stated last night that the initial official Sedna package WILL be supported by Support Services just like any other XBase pieces in the product. Any Sedna components modified after that point will not be officially supported. In fact, for comparison, he gave the example that the VFP Class Browser (written in VFP code) is supported officially as part of the product but Class BrowserX is not supported.

Right. My message was probably confusing in that respect. Thanks for clarifying. I really just wanted to make the point that the Sedna announcement was truly new.
