The MVPs had NO input on this. We had a meeting last night where Alan and the team made the announcement. Calvin, Alexsy, Alwin, and Milind were there. We had events last night until late at night that kept us all busy. I am in the process of writing my blog entry on it. However, yesterday's announcement should not be a surprise. I said in June, 2005 (here and here) that Sedna would be the end of life. Microsoft not releasing a VFP 10 does not mean that you cannot develop VFP applications. Microsoft discontinued VB 6.0 years ago and there is still new VB 6.0 development going on today. What some see as a death sentence to their applications and careers, I see as a new opportunity.
