Certainly, MS is entitled to make a business decision.
I would look at this in retrospective: it was good 12 years of VFP development, and some more ahead. Recollect early 90s, and look where other products, that were comparable with Foxpro, stand now. I mean Clipper, Paradox, Dbase, and even PowerBuilder and Delphi. We got a good opportunity and it lasted long enough.
