Well, whether you say
SELECT Field From Customers
or
From Customers Select Field
really does not make a big difference, does it? It certainly does not mean that the engine works any differently under the hood.
However, starting with "from" is much more convenient for intellisense, which is why a new query language should really start with "from". (I explain this in more detail in my articles).
I am not sure why you think "the similarities and quickly after that". Perhaps there are some specific things you are looking for, which I would be interested to learn about. But in general, certain similarities seem to be all over the place.
