Originally, Borland said there were going to sell the IDE business. It was only after no one wanted to buy it that they decided to divest it. BTW, we have products built with Borland tools and are currently moving them away from Borland in favor of Microsoft tools.
>It could have been worse. MSFT could have done as Borland did and simply decided not to be in the IDE business anymore. Until CodeGear was launched, there was no future home for Delphi. Borland decided to divest the IDE business.
