No it wasn't. But I'm glad I was the one to do it. I didn't want it to end like dBase, Paradox, Powerbuilder or any of those, where people who weren't involved for decades just went silent. I knew it would come some day and wanted to be the person to work on the announcement and on the plan for keeping things going. Given the stability of the core and the extensibility in the last few versions, I think there's still a lot that people can choose to do.

It also gave us a way to influence VS in general - and sitting here in the VB MVP meeting I am so proud to see how much that team has gotten the VFP spirit.
