And that doesn't make them different from other companies when they decide to sunset a product. They make the announcement and move on. What purpose would it serve to natter on about the reasons, the plusses and minuses, etc.? You don't want to talk about that product, you want to talk about your other products.
Microsoft doesn't owe anybody anything, technically. But sometimes, in deference to their customers, companies do explain things, even if only to a limited extent.
My issue is everyone else telling us why Microsoft has discontinued development of VFP.
They have no idea of the facts/truth and so shouldn't be spreading it like gospel.
