I do not know how the App wizard creates an app, but in your startup code do you have something like do mymenu.mpr? Open project manager and see if it is in the *Other/Menus* list and not excluded.

Menus do not have to be included separately. And .mpx is the compiles version of the .mpr but does not have to exist if compiled into the app.
