Hi John,

I killed it?? You're killing me! ;-D

I think the last hope for the product died when Randy left.

We do live in interesting times. It now takes 4 dweebs messing around with code and databases to achieve the same end-user productivity 1 guy could do pre-Windows in half the time.

Most web apps are pathetic with a capital P. The UI is lousy and the browser paradigm doesn't lend itself to a lot of line-of-business apps.

Although I have great hope and faith that the MS development world will continue to positively evolve, I'm also dreading that moment when it takes 12 hours of study and research to do "Hello, world"

>Hey John. I think you killed VFP, or at least it died when you left!<g>

>I guess I'll be using VFP for years to come and hopefully the open source stuff will get enhanced. I'm also learning dot net and a couple of other languages like php and perl. I've got some java experience, enough to know I hate it, and then there's all the OS stuff. We do live in "interesting times", don't we.
