HI Jess,

> I am confused with your message, what do you mean "GO AWAY"??? Negative or Positive???

What do you think it means? I think at some point in time there'll be a last release of VFP. MS has committed to a 7 and the odds might be in favor of an 8, at least right now, but I probably wouldn't bet on 8. MS rolls out a new version of VS about every 18 months, so if 7.0 ships in say March of 2001, I'd think it may be the last version. So, if VS 8.0 comes out without VFP in say September of 2002, so what?

You may also have noticed the special bonus session there by two other VFP speakers to educate VFP developers on VB. I work in VFP everyday and although I explore and dabble in other tools VFP is still my bread and butter. That doesn't mean I can't have an eye towards the future. I really think that as the gap narrows between what VFP has that VB doesn't migration is going to be somewhat trivial. As someone who makes 3rd party tools, it's something I look forward to.
