cheek by jowel. As in very close proximity to each other. Soldiers in the trenches lived cheek by jowel. I'm surprised you haven't heard that expression.

Costa is a coffee chain over here, better coffee than Starbucks. I assumed it originated in the US, but maybe it's Italian. Anyway, it's on a similar standing to Sb and Nero.
