>>I love the recreation California has to offer, but man it's rush hour 18 hours a day, including weekends. Ever tried to leave town towards the 15 on 10 on a weekend? Fur-git-a-bot-it!

>I take the 23 up to 118 through Simi Valley, join the 210 and get to 15 on the north side of San Bernardino. Traffic is still heavy, but nothing like the 101/404 corridor or anything y'all face down in the mix.

>I just couldn't do that. I've lived in the DC area, the NYC area, and Chicago. I've seen traffic. Nothing holds a candle to LA.

I was at a client in the LA area a few years ago. It took me nearly as long to go from Calabasas to Century City then it did from Century City to Phoenix! Just keeping that in mind allows me to appreciate that the traffic in Phoenix is not so bad (but it IS getting worse).
