Java applet not working on Some WinXP stations

>We have video camera that has an IP address. To view the video feed we point Internet Explorer 6 at an ip address, and the video loads in a Java applet. We have 50 or so computers. Of these, 2 computers can't load the java applet properly, only a grey box is seen. The 50 computers have Windows XP SP1 with IE6 with the latest patches for SP1. I can't figure out why these two computer can't see the java applet.

Do these two machines have a different video card, or possibly an on-board or shared video memory?
