Anyone that knows the Fox people at MSFT know what a difficult moment this has been for all. I worked on the Fox team for 6 months in 2001 and it completely gave me a new perspective. The people on the Fox team are just as passionate about Fox as the people in the Fox Community. Many people in the forums do not know this and consider MSFT the big bad guy. I'm here to tell those people that it simply is not true.

It's sad to see the Fox go to sleep .. but he's not dead. Fox apps will continue to survive for years and years. Ironically, I just got an email from an old client today asking about converting some Fox 2.6 code to VFP 9. There are many Fox DOS apps out there in the world right now that have been running for years and years .. and they will continue to do so. The Fox apps we write today with VFP 9 will continue running for just as many years.

I'm not running out to change my license plate any time soon. It says:
