The very idea that a DOS program had Windows in it, and how much fun it was to navigate the weird interface in the FoxPro products. When did SQL come in? Was it in FoxPro 2.0 or 2.5. I remember showing a C programmer how I could extract just a few records from a several hundred thousand record database in the wink of an eye. He really didn't believe what he was seeing.

I got FoxBase+ in 1989 and read the documentation cover to cover and still couldn't figure out how to get the editor to appear. Finally, I called tech support ( completely free in those days ) and the tech on the other end say - Oh yeah, just type "Modi Comm". The beginning of a big adventure...
A problem is a problem only as long as it has a possible solution. Lacking that, it becomes a FACT!
